2025 Snow Golf Fundraiser
local veteran advocate is bringing back this unique event aimed at raising money for restoration of civil war gravesites in Manitowoc County. Snow Golf is a four-person scramble where golfers use a maximum of three clubs to hit a racquetball instead of a standard golf ball. Prizes will be available for the teams in 1st, 5th, and 10th places, and a lunch will be provided.
Proceeds from Snow Golf 2024 will go towards the Civil War Gravesite Restoration Project. As a sponsor, we encourage you to participate in the event by contacting Dan Reinke:

Another winter season brings with it another unique fundraiser.
Snow Golf 2025 is set to take place again at Meadow Links in Manitowoc on February 8th, with funds being raised for the continued restoration of Civil War gravesites in the County.
Event organizer Dan Reinke tells SeehaferNews.com that 106 golfers hit the links last year, helping fund the restoration of over 300 gravesites so far.
That accounts for just shy of half of the final resting places of 754 Civil War veterans in the county.
Additionally, over 200 gravesites of Spanish-American War, WW1, and WW2 veterans have also been cleaned, totaling over 5,000 volunteer hours.
Reinke is now accepting hole sponsors for Snow Golf 2025, as well as any donations for prizes.
