Manitowoc’s facilities and coastal location make us a winning choice for hosting your sports event!

Manitowoc is best known for hosting events near or along its coast at our spectacular Lake Michigan venues. Neshotah Beach in Two Rivers is host to the 2019 EVP Pro Am National Volleyball Tour and a 2019 Pro-Am Beach Soccer Tournament. Manitowoc and Two Rivers also host championship fishing tournaments, sailing and other water sports along our coast. This athletic-oriented community, just south of Green Bay, offers a full range of support services for nearly every team and individual sport through its Visitor & Convention Bureau. Manitowoc County offers a choice of quality ball fields for every team sport, also playing host to the Manitowoc County Mariners, a semi-professional adult football team. In 2017, play began at the brand new Manitowoc Youth Baseball/Softball Complex, offering four diamonds (with another two nearby), concession stand, state of the art lighting and more.  Just a short drive from Whistling Straits, Manitowoc presents inexpensive golf courses for beginners and challenging fairways for the serious golfer. For a change of pace, play a challenging 18-hole disc golf game on one of our five area courses.

Manitowoc’s 24,000 sq. ft. Ice Center hosts hockey tournaments, skating competition and sports shows. Our YMCA offers two indoor 6-lane swimming pools, indoor tennis, racketball, etc. The Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA is recently unveiled a $4 million dollar renovation. The University of Wisconsin- Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus and our high school gyms, host many team competitions for both youth and adult teams.
