Join us on February 8th for an open house to mark the reopening of the Vilas-Rahr Mansion and closing of the Rudy Rotter Exhibit. The new mansion exhibits will include a celebration of Midcentury Manitowoc, and highlights about how the Rahr-West Art Museum came to be the Art Museum is it today.

Art of Conversation: Laura Bickford
In conjunction with the Essential Creativity: The Self-Taught Art of Rudy Rotter exhibit, Curator Laura Bickford will speak about the preponderance of artists in our region who made art work in addition to other full-time jobs.

2:00 – 3:00 pm
Quick Create: Accordion Sketchbooks
Attendees will make a mini accordion sketchbook and decorate the front and back cover. Once you’ve completed your sketchbook, do the special Quick Create scavenger hunt to find and sketch the artwork in the museum.
Free drop in style class, all ages, no registration required.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
