Nestled in the scenic rolling Ice Age Kettle Moraine countryside of Eastern Wisconsin, the Manitowoc County Historical Society is a museum of living history. Feel the heat from the blacksmith’s forge, take part in one-room school lessons, and find your ancestor’s name in our archives.
This 60-acre interpretive museum of local history features a Welcome Center with local history exhibits and research services and the outdoor Pinecrest Historical Village – a collection of over 25 historic buildings with period furnishings from Manitowoc County’s early settlers.

Sepia Chapel is Two River’s Urban Event Space and is a gorgeous venue to rent for weddings, corporate parties, fundraising events, vow renewals, Christmas parties, and more. Beyond the jaw-dropping 24 ft. indoor waterfall, there is a full service bar, performance risers, audio visual equipment, and professional service staff. The open floor plan can be set in a variety of ways; including stations to host wine tasting events, and interactive social meetings. The facility is handicap accessible, air conditioned, and sits by the East Twin River, with views of Lake Michigan. Sepia was recently awarded ‘Best Interior Renovation of a Historic Place’ by Wisconsin’s Main Street Association, and is proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
