Celebrate the winter solstice-the shortest day of the year-with a group walk. On this day, “…the Northern Hemisphere will have just 8 hours and 46 minutes of daylight. Plan: Upon leaving the library area, we will head down to 8th Street, making our way north across the bridge up to Park Street.

We will continue up and down both sides of 8th & 9th street, Quay, and other side stops to enjoy the city’s holiday decorations and see the aluminum trees from local businesses.
