Thursday, March7, 2024 at 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Wisconsin Maritime Museum
Drink Pairing: Bee’s Knees
World War II wasn’t just a man’s war – over 350,000 American women served in the Armed Forces through programs like the Navy’s WAVES (Women Accepted for Voluntary Emergency Service) and the Coast Guard’s SPARS (Semper Paratus, Always Ready). Initially met with resistance, these women answered their nation’s call and laid the ground work for all future women in the Armed Forces.
Admission is free in person and online, and there is a limited cash bar that features a specialty cocktail and non-alcoholic alternative related to the theme of the talk. Doors and bar open at 6:00 pm.
