Please join the Wisconsin Maritime Museum on November 2nd at 6:30pm for our free Think & Drink series presentation “Native Americans in World War II” with veteran Dan King of the Oneida Nation. The featured drink of the night will be a Code Talker Cocktail.
Native Americans, both men and women, are the largest contributors per capita to the armed forces. Even now they serve at five times the national average. In World War II, over 10% of their population took part with some tribes having as much as 70% participation in the war effort. Join the Oneida Nation’s Dan King as he shares his grandfather’s experience serving in World War I, his father’s experience serving in World War II, and his own experience serving in Vietnam.
Alcohol and nonalcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the limited bar.
