The Washington House Museum & Berners Ice Cream Parlor REOPENING Saturday, May 24
The Washington House Museum & Visitor Center celebrates 175 years since it was built – an extraordinary milestone! To celebrate the day of Reopening for the season we are offering single-dip ice cream cones in Berners Ice Cream Parlor for only $1.75 for one day only. With great appreciation for our hardworking volunteers and generous rhubarb donors, our signature “Ruby Sundae” will be available for purchase. In addition, visitors will enjoy Live Music with Cheryl Bauer, pianist rom 1-2pm, Amy Potthoff, accordionist from 2:30-3:30 pm and Norm Bertschy, accordionist from 4-6pm. These local musicians voluntarily share their talent and are among the community’s attractions.
Visitors are invited to view the recent updates at the Museum which will be revealed on May 24. New hours are 12-6pm, Thursday through Monday, beginning May 24 through October 31. While the Museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, inquiries about renting the Grand Ballroom for events or meetings are always welcome. Please call 920.793.2490.
