The Fiddler’s Farm
The Friends of Kiel Performing Arts are excited to announce that classic country and bluegrass band, Fiddler’s Farm, will be traveling from Door County to perform at the Kiel Area School District Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 22, at 7 PM.
Bringing a Branson, Missouri quality show right her to Kiel, The Fiddler’s Farm consists of some of Wisconsin’s best musicians performing a live show of Classic Country, Western Swing and Bluegrass music. Featuring famous tunes from artists like Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, Connie Smith, Asleep at the Wheel, Flatt and Scruggs, Bill Monroe and many more, this family-friendly show is one you don’t want to miss!
The band consists of Dan Rass on vocals and guitar; two-time Wisconsin State Fiddle Champion, Hana Dumas and Grammy-nominated Nick Dumas on the fiddle; Kiel native Steve Nothem on steel guitar; Jed Cornwell on Bass; and Guy Nothem on Drums. The group has been in existence for over five years and plays shows throughout the summer in their beautiful 118-year old barn in Sturgeon Bay.
Tickets for Fiddler’s Farm are $20 and can be purchased online at www.showtix4u.com (search “Kiel”). Tickets will also be for sale at the PAC box office one hour before the show. The Fiddler’s Farm concert is the fifth show of the 2022 concert series sponsored by Friends of Kiel Performing Arts (FKPA) with help from generous donors including Kiel and New Holstein Family Dental, Collins State Bank, Drexel Building Supply, Sargento Food Inc., Millhome Nursery, Bank First, Dr. David Pieper, DDS, Kwik Trip, Lakeshore Technical College, Kiel Area Youth Theater, Wind Walker Label, Millhome Nursery, Premier Financial Credit Union, and The Vollrath Company. FKPA is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that was founded in 2020. FKPA is dedicated to promoting lifelong discovery and enjoyment of the arts by bringing the highest quality arts and arts education programs to the citizens of Kiel and surrounding communities.
