Gather at the Sorenson House table for a delightful, simple, historic supper. Enjoy the sites, sounds, and smells of a kitchen from days gone by. Mrs. Sorenson and her helpers will be glad to have you at their table. There is nothing they like better than a houseful of merriment.

At the table guests will be served a historic menu prepared by a local restaurant, in the comfort of the Sorenson house.

Advanced registration is required. The cost is $65 per person. MCHS members receive a 15% discount.

Historic Dinner programs are much more than a meal. You’ll be transported back in time to experience an intimate snack, tea, or supper sampler gathered around the wood stove and learn about life in the past from your cook and dinner hosts. In order to plan for this special experience, the Manitowoc County Historical Society relies on advanced tickets for each program. Since this experience is so different from a simple restaurant reservation, we are unable to provide a full refund for last minute cancellations.

ALLERGY CONCERNS

Our meals are prepared in the style of the historic period and served family style. We generally cannot alter recipes without impacting other guests at the table. Most of our recipes contain butter, margarine, eggs, chicken or beef stock, flour, and other gluten containing ingredients.
