Shelltrack 2023 Fat Bike Relay

We’ve changed it up this year and Shelltrack 2023 is going back to its down-home, good time, grassroots ethos. As always, we’re holding the race at the lovely Silver Creek Park on the shores of Lake Michigan. Although this year’s Shelltrack isn’t an official Snow Crown event we anticipate the flavor to be similar, probably even spicier.
How it’ll go down: you can race Shelltrack as an individual or create a team of 2-4 riders. Course is 20 laps. Everyone must race on a fat bike. That means a tire width of at least 3.8”. Prizes will be given to the overall top three teams and the overall top three individuals.
Everyone must register individually whether you’re riding alone or on a team.
Everyone is responsible for recording their own laps and that will be done with good ole pen and paper. Rules are pretty simple.
Race start is noon. Race it or simply ride it. You win either way. Remember to practice race etiquette. If you have a rider coming up to pass you, move to the right and let them pass. If you want to pass another rider, let them know you’re coming and will be passing on the left. We want this to be a safe and fun event.
