Manitowoc residents can show their support for Parkinson’s Awareness in April.

The 2nd Annual Promenade the Park for Parkinson’s Awareness event has been scheduled to take April 20th.

Participants will walk 4 city blocks surrounding Washington Park and downtown Manitowoc with a 2-hour time frame.

Parkinson’s is a disorder of the central nervous system that affects movement and often includes tremors.

The disease isn’t curable and, although not fatal, can cause many complications.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 20th, in Washington Park from 10 am to noon.
