Power at the Polls! Current Voting Rules & Regulations
Voting is without a doubt one of the greatest privileges that we as citizens are afforded. When you head to the polls in upcoming elections, do so with absolute confidence. Manitowoc Public Library and the League of Women Voters Manitowoc County are teaming up to bring you this informative and vital virtual program: Power at the Polls! Current Voting Rules & Regulations, taking place from 6-8 PM on Thursday, February 17. The panel that has been assembled for this discussion/community conversation is positively stellar: Jamie Aulik (Wisconsin Elections Commission), Jessica Backus (Manitowoc County Clerk), Mackenzie Reed-Kadow (City Clerk, Manitowoc), and Jamie Jackson (City Clerk, Two Rivers). They’ll be bringing you all the latest voting need-to-knows, and should viewers have any questions/comments, they can type them into the “Comments” area on either Facebook (www.facebook.com/manitowoclibrary) or our YouTube channel as this is a live virtual event! We can’t wait to bring this information-packed program to our community and never forget–Knowledge is power!
