Lego Letterpress Mini Workshop
Let’s play with Lego! Join us for this evening workshop to use Lego to create unique posters. This fun, playful experience is a perfect introduction to printmaking. All your materials will be provided, so just come with a fun idea and willingness to explore. You’ll leave the workshop with a stack of printed posters. This workshop is for adults: 18+ (sorry, minors can’t join this workshop, but teens can sign up to take a lego workshop at the museum on Friday, April 26!).
$45 Total
No previous experience is necessary for this event; we will provide step-by-step instructions.

Stephanie Carpenter
Stephanie Carpenter is a letterpress printer, educator, and graphic designer. Since 2011 she has worked at the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum, first as the Assistant Director and now as the Program Officer. Stephanie enjoys the tactile nature of letterpress printing and the direct connection to history. She creates posters, installations, and artists’ books using vintage wood and metal type and hand-carved blocks on 100-year-old-presses.

The cost is $45 per person, with the museum providing all the materials you will need to create unique posters.
Space is limited, so registration and a $20 non-refundable deposit are required. The $25 balance is due at the beginning of the workshop. We accept cash, credit card or check. Please complete the registration form at the link below to reserve your place.
