Calling all Volunteers!

Are you looking for a way to show your support for our Veterans of the past and our local history?

We’ll be helping restore Civil War Gravesites using only water, dawn dish soap and soft brushes!

We will kick off at 9:00am on September 23rd meeting at the GAR (Grand Army of the Republic Memorial) in Section B at Evergreen Cemetery.

The goal on September 23rd will be to restore over 100 Civil War Gravesites.

Civil War Gravesites to be restored will be marked. Volunteers will be supplied with soap, a soft brush, bucket and water to restore the Gravesites.

Volunteers do not need to bring their own supplies. There are Federal laws that need to be followed when restoring Civil War Gravesites.
