Celebrate Laura Ingalls birthday with this wintery program. Visit some favorite childhood characters and explore their lives in winter. Do chores with Almanzo, grind wheat into flour like it is the long winter, put on a theatrical like the March girls, and more!
Note: In order to give students hands-on experiences, we suggest families rotate in small groups. Thus the maximum capacity of this program is about 100 students.
The ideal age for this program is 4 to 17. Program activities take place from 10 am to 2 pm, unless otherwise noted. We suggest allowing at least 2 hours to enjoy the program activities. The Two Creeks Town Hall is available for families to take a snack or lunch break, or enjoy a quiet space to play.
Family field trip/homeschool program admission is $6 for students age 4 to 17. Children under 4 are admitted free. One adult educator per family is admitted free. Additional adults may join in the program at a cost of $12 each. Payment is due upon registration.
Advanced registration is required, ideally 1 week prior to the program.
