Saturdays June 10, July 8 & 22 & 29, August 12 & 26

Saturday 6 – 10:30pm ,  Sunday 7 – 8:30am

For Families with children 5 – 12 years old

Interested in seeing the amazing animals at Lincoln Park Zoo after hours? Join us for the overnight campout or Saturday evening only!

The night begins with pitching and prepping your campsite, The visit some of the zoo animals, explore animal activity stations, and enjoy a campfire and s’mores. Spend time relaxing at you campsite before you–and the rest of the zoo–turn in for the night. Wake up to the calls of gibbons and flamingos and grab some breakfast before taking a leisurely morning hike.

Open registration will begin Tuesday, April 18 at 10 a.m.

Evening only (7-10pm) $50 per person –  includes evening activities , s’mores and parking

-Overnight (7pm – 8:30a.m.) $75 per person- includes s’mores, evening and morning activities, breakfast and parking

-Add-On Dinner (6-7pm) $15 per person.  Dinner menu: You may purchase boxed dinners, including sandwiches, chips, fruit and drinks. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options available upon request.

Tents are provided for a $15 rental fee or familes can choose to bring their own tent with no charge.

 

SATURDAY EVENING

6-7pm   check in, set up tents. Optional add-on dinner at Park Place Cafe

7:25 – 7:30pm  Orientation and introductions.

7:30 – 10pm  Activities in carious animal exhibit building;

Evening Only participants depart at 10pm

10 – 10:30  Spend time relaxing at the campsite

10:30pm  Lights out

SUNDAY MORNING

7 – 8am   Breakfast on the Park Place Terrace

8 – 8:30am  Morning activity

8:30am Pack belonging and depart

Lincoln Park Zoo Learning staff and volunteers will guide your campout experience from arrival through departure. They will provide an orientation, help you set up your campsite, and lead fun activities throughout the zoo during the evening and morning. One zoo educator will sleep at the zoo and a dedicated security person weill be available to assist participants overnight.
