Young readers and their parents/grandparents are invited to visit with author Naomi Raddatz, Saturday, April 6, 10:30-11:30 at LaDeDa Books. Raddatz will read her whimsical picture book, ”Bob’s Birthday Blobs”. There will also be an art project inspired by Bob’s story.

Bob wants a cake and a playmate for his birthday but no one seems to have time for him at the moment. Still, he is filled with boundless energy, and before all is said and done, a huge disaster ensues.

Wisconsin native, Naomi Raddatz, spent over two decades as a pre-school and elementary school teacher.

Future events at LaDeDa Books include a four author meet and greet on Saturday, April 20, Independent Bookstore Day, April 27, early summer dance party for kids with Shelia Hansen, and cartooning with a New Yorker cartoonist.
