9th annual Bowling Blind Event at Meadow Lanes North
A local non-profit is looking to raise money to aid the visually impaired.
The Manitowoc/Two Rivers Lions Club is hosting its 9th Annual Bowling Blind Event on Sunday, February 4th, from noon to 4:00 p.m. at Meadow Lanes North.
This year, the event is sponsored by Novak Service Center and Elliot Painting Service.
This event aims to raise public awareness about the daily challenges faced by the blind and visually impaired.
The net proceeds will go towards service projects sponsored by the Lions Club.
Anyone of the age 10 or above is welcome and encouraged to attend, though individuals 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult.
Each team of five can participate for $75, which will include three games, with 2 of the games bowled visually impaired, shoe rental, cash awards, and door prizes.
Food and beverages will be available at the alley.
Interested participants should sign up by January 24th.
