What Matters: An Exploration of Why We Create

An evening of conversation with visiting artists Desiree Aspiras, Jennifer Graves, and Melissa Blount. The Gallery Lab features their works in progress and work from their individual creative practices.

Free and open to everyone.

This event is part of the museum’s BIWOC (Black, Indigenous, Women of Color) 2024 summit. Bringing their amazing energy and artistic vision back to Hamilton, Blount, Graves and Aspiras are on site for two weeks to print, offer a workshop and this gallery talk, and conduct a sewing circle.
