Twenty six of our city parks throughout Manitowoc County provide a range of facilities from boat launching and fishing to team fields, tennis courts, trails, swimming pools, picnic areas, restrooms and beaches. Visit Manitowoc’s Community built Playground at Henry Schuette Park or the NEW BMX/Skate Park Complex at Dewey St. Park. Some playground areas are supervised. And you can visit the Lincoln Park Zoo for free! Band concerts at Manitowoc’s MetroStage in Washington Park Wednesday evenings during summer. Or go to Two Rivers Central Park for free concerts on Thursdays during the summer.
The City of Manitowoc has 37 parks, offering more than 670 acres of green play space – All public park facilities are open year ’round from 6 a.m.-11 p.m. Reservations for the shelters and cabins can be made through the City of Manitowoc Parks Department at 920-686-3580 or Two Rivers Recreation Department at (920) 793-5592.
