Schroeder’s Department Store, which has been family-owned since the 1890s, offers a wide selection of apparel and footwear for men and women, as well as candles, specialty foods, and other gifts. The LondonDairy Alpaca Ranch & Gift Store bills itself as “the softest place in Northeast Wisconsin”—come see why as you browse clothing, toys, and home décor made with ultra-soft alpaca wool.

Located along the Trail, Bike ‘N Fit is the perfect stop for the outdoors lover on your holiday gift list, as they sell bikes and bike gear from major brands like Trek and Electra (they also offer service and rentals).

Find something for the history buff on your list at the Pier 75 Museum Store, located inside the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. Browse maritime books and videos, educational materials, clothing and more.

Food & drink

Beerntsen’s Confectionary has made chocolates, homemade candies, nuts, and more in its old-fashioned ice cream parlor in the heart of downtown Manitowoc for more than 80 years. Renee’s Chocolates in Two Rivers specializes in handmade chocolates and other gourmet treats.

Head to the factory store at Henning’s Cheese in Kiel—a family-owned cheese factory that’s been in business since 1914—to find cheeses, wine, and souvenirs. Pine River Dairy in Manitowoc sells more than 250 varieties of cheese—as well as ice cream, gifts, and souvenirs—in its retail store, and The Cheese Nook also sells cheeses, sausages, syrups, jams and jellies, and gift boxes and baskets.

Raise a glass to the holiday season at the breweries and wineries in Manitowoc and Two Rivers—you might find the perfect bottle of wine or six-pack of craft beer for that hard-to-shop-for person on your list.
