A two-day workshop. Nourish your artistic practice. Learn how to build up a body of work from tiny moments of time, focusing on process over outcome.

Friday, 5:30-7 p.m.: Artist’s talk, Q&A, mingle, and discuss artistic processes and practices.
Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.: Dig into your own practice, alternating between solo and group activities.
Featured artist is Caitlyn Metz.

Fee is $125. No experience necessary. For adults 18+.
Friday evening: get to know Caitlin through an artist talk about how their creative practice has held them throughout their life – how when you’re focused on the process over the outcome you can utilize five, ten and twenty minute chunks of time to both self-soothe and build a collection of work that you’re proud of. We’ll have a brief Q&A and mingle to get to know each other. (optional drinks afterwards)

Saturday: Reflect on the prior evening, Q&A over tea and coffee. Then we will alternate throughout the day with group and solo activities, guided prompts (to help you get clear on where you are, what time you have, what work would be the most supportive, how to build up a body of work from tiny moments of time, etc.). This day is a container for you dig into your own practice.

The workshop runs from 9 am to 4 pm. Everyone breaks for lunch at the same time. Options include purchasing a lunch for $15, bringing your own lunch (a refrigerator is available), or choosing a local restaurant. Because of the nature of the pressroom and the pieces being used, participants in the workshop must be 18 years or older.

The cost is $125 with all materials provided by the museum. Space is limited, so reservations and a $65 non-refundable deposit are required. Please complete the registration form below to reserve your place. The $60 balance is due at the beginning of the workshop. Cash, credit cards and checks are acceptable.
