Think & Drink: We Do This for the Water

Please join the Wisconsin Maritime Museum on May 2, 2024 at 6:30pm for our Think & Drink series presentation “We Do This for the Water” with Siobhan Marks/Zeegwan Noodenese. The featured drink of the night will be Cedar Tea.
Josephine Mandamin was an Anishinaabe elder and Water rights activist who walked around the Great Lakes, more than 10,000 miles, to raise awareness about water pollution and the sacredness of Water. Join Siobhan Marks as she tells the story of Grandmother Josephine and her fellow Water Walkers, their sacred walk, and what it meant to her community and the world.
Out of respect for Josephine and Water, this event will be a nonalcoholic event. Soft drinks will be available for purchase.
