Internet Consumer Privacy Policy
The Manitowoc Area Visitor & Convention Bureau (MAVCB) is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. MACVB uses the information you disclose only to the extent necessary to provide high-quality visitor services. This information is not used for any other purpose and is not shared with outside parties, except as provided for in this policy or required by law. The only individually identifiable information that MAVCB collects about you is that information which you choose to share with us. MAVCB also collects information about aggregate site usage. Statistics that we gather about unique visits, repeat visits and page views are all based on IP address, not on your individual activities. MAVCB does not sell or trade its information, ever.
Information collection & use
In order to provide our services, MAVCB may ask for the following information:
- contact information, including mailing address, phone number and e-mail address;
- demographic information such as postal code, interests; and other information relevant to customer surveys.
The MAVCB may collect this information from the following sources:
- Online subscriptions to the Coastlines newsletter
- Requests for Visitor Guides and specific information about your visit to the Manitowoc Area
