HARVESTFEST & MANITOWALKERHarvest Fest and Manitowalker is a Downtown Manitowoc tradition. The Manitowalker is an annual Volkswalk that is sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association. It will take the participants through the streets of downtown and along the Lake Michigan Coastline. Registration begins at 8:30 am. After the walk you can participate in Harvestfest, a celebration of autumn at our Farmers Market and unique downtown shops. Enjoy sidewalk sales, food specials, family entertainment, and horse and wagon rides throughout the downtown district. October 5, 2013 |
APPLEFEST
Whether you love Golden Delicious or Pink Lady, Applefest in Downtown Two Rivers, is a wonderful celebration of everything apple. Washington Street will be filled with art and craft vendors and entertainment! And you can try delectable apple treats like caramel apples and pastries, and you can buy bags of fresh apples of different varieties to take home with you.

SPOOKY FUNHear tales from the past during the Voices of the Cemetery Tour by the Manitowoc County Historical Society. Costumed interpreters will introduce you to former residents as they bring their fascinating stories to life. Then tour the Manitowoc County Heritage Center and take part in activities such as tombstone rubbing, and genealogy research. October 12, 2013 The Maritime History Ghost Walk at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum is an extraordinary Halloween experience. Hear true Lake Michigan tales with an eerie twist. October 25-26, 2013 Halloween Haunted Barn at the Lincoln Park Zoo is a fun holiday event offering a maze of frights, and fun in the Big Red Barn. Refreshments, games, and a haunted trail for the brave. Designed for ages 5 and up. October 25-26 and November 1, 2013
