In this immersive presentation, Kevin Cullen (WMM Deputy Director), will provide new insights into two pre-Civil War shipwrecks that burned on Lake Michigan and what we can learn about the passengers aboard these historic immigrant vessels. He will also demonstrate how the Wisconsin Maritime Museum plans to conserve, display and interpret thousands of artifacts from these shipwrecks and others, that have recently come into their care.
