Stephen Lang’s Beyond Glory
In 2005, under a unique collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts and the Department of Defense, Lang toured US military camps, ships, and bases across the globe, from the Persian Gulf to Korea. That tour culminated in a performance at the US Senate to mark and honor Senator and Men of Honor recipient Daniel Inouye’s 80th birthday. Later that year, Beyond Glory had a distinguished run at The Goodman Theatre in Chicago, followed by a 101-performance run in 2007 at the prestigious Roundabout Theatre in New York. Beyond Glory has garnered critical and popular acclaim and nominations including The Chairman’s Medal for Distinguished Service from the National Education Association, and the Bob Hope Award from the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.
Lang’s television work includes series regular roles in “Crime Story,” “The Fugitive,” and “Terra Nova.” Lang has acted in films including “Last Exit to Brooklyn,” “Manhunter,” “Tombstone,” “Gettysburg,” “Gods And Generals,” “White Irish Drinker,” “Christina,” “Band of the Hand,” “Public Enemies,” “Conan The Barbarian,” and “Avatar.”
