The Shoreland Baseball League will recognize its 50th anniversary with a celebratory event on Saturday, June 25 at Walsh Field in Two Rivers.

Park gates will open at 11:00am for the Shoreland alumni reunion. All former players, coaches, and league officials are invited to attend along with their families and fans.

At 2:00, alumni will head to the diamond for a softball game.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Howie Timm will begin at 3:30. Timm spent nearly 40 years associated with the Shoreland League as a player and manager during which he won four league championships with the Two Rivers Polar Bears.

The day concludes with a baseball game pitting a group of Shoreland League legends against of a team of the league’s young rising stars. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00.

No admission will be charged throughout the day and concessions will be available. There will be a gift basket raffle to help cover costs.
