Paint Drips & Spooky Sips: A Halloween “Scream” with Erin LaBonte @ MPL
Ah, the exquisite horror of contemporary life! Who says that you can’t have some ghoulish fun with existential anxiety and uncertainty? Not Manitowoc Public Library, that’s for sure. If you’re interested in creating a personal Halloween masterpiece based on Edvard Munch’s iconic “The Scream” while sipping on a refreshing glass of vino, have we got a great evening to offer you—Paint Drips & Spooky Sips: A Halloween “Scream” with Erin LaBonte. This terrifyingly great time takes place from 6-8 PM on Thursday, October 10 in MPL’s Balkansky Community Room. Come trip the light Expressionistic with an evening of art and wine at Manitowoc Public Library! Erin LaBonte—Associate Professor of Art at Silver Lake College of the Holy Family and the creative force behind many of Manitowoc’s amazing murals—will be providing step-by-step instructions as she guides participants towards their end product. All supplies (canvas, paint, brushes, wine) will be provided. Seeing as adult beverages are being served at this workshop, this is a 21-and-over event.
