Midwestern Model Ships & Boats Contest & Display
May 17 @ 8:00 am - May 18 @ 5:00 pm
Registration materials for the 43rd annual model contest will become available for downloading in early 2019. Please contact Wendy at firstname.lastname@example.org or 920-242-4943 if you cannot download or have no printer access so she can send via regular mail.
Categories include scratch-built models, kit models, operational models, dioramas, and nautical crafts (which include cannons, anchors, figureheads, nautical decorations, maritime carvings-figureheads, fish, water creatures, waterfowl)–or crafts made from nautical items, etc.
Along with bronze, silver, and gold awards, special awards are presented for Best Great Lakes, Modelers’ Choice, Best Miniature, Best Paint Finish, Best Novice Builder, Best Racing Class Sailboat, Best Maritime Carving, Best of Show, and People’s Choice.
We welcome all levels of ability including youth, novice, intermediate, and advanced. You can even choose to display your model rather than enter it to be judged.
We’re looking forward to another fantastic weekend of fabulous models and renewed friendships. See you there!
