Manitowoc – Two Rivers Area Ice Age Trail Community Designation

Manitowoc and Two Rivers have become Ice Age Trail Communities. There will be a designation event on Saturday, August 5, 2017 beginning at 9:00 am with introductions, speakers, and a ribbon cutting. Several hike options along the Ice Age Trail will begin at 9:30 am.
> Cultural Hike: visit the Rahr West Museum, Maritime Museum, and West of the Lake Gardens in the City of Manitowoc.
> Tyke Hike: hike and play at Neshotah Beach in the city ofTwo Rivers.
> ColdCache Hike: visit several geologic features along the trail in Point Beach State Forest
> Bird Hike: hike and bird along the trail through Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve.
> Photography Hike: hike and learn artistic and technical photography tips along the trail in Point Beach State Forest.
