Invasive Species: The Fight to Save Land & Water
January 4 @ 6:00 pm
Thursday, January 4, 2024 – 6:00pm
Woodland Dunes Nature Center & Preserve Executive Director Jim Knickelbine describes invasive species of plants and animals impacting our area. These species introduced from around the world affect almost every aspect of local ecology, both land and water.
Invasive species management is a critical component of habitat restoration, and for the past 20 years has been a primary focus in the management of Woodland Dunes’ 1,500 acres of preserved habitat.
