Enjoy afternoon tea with Mrs. Charles Dickens at the Manitowoc County Historical Society on June 16th form 1-2 pm.
“Charles Dickens, author, playwright, actor and social activist, was indeed a master of characters. Many of his characters were drawn from life. Meet Catherine Dickens, his long suffering wife and mother of ten children. Mrs. Dickens will relate her life with “Charlie” as he becomes perhaps Englands greatest author. Mrs. Dickens will also introduce the audience to such women as; Nancy from “Oliver Twist”, Miss Havisham from “Great Expectations”, Betsey Trotwood from “David Copperfield and others.”

Sweets and tea will be served. Program is best for adults and children ages 6 and up.
Cost: $5/MCHS members and children 4-17. Non-members: $12/adults, $7/children ages 4-17, children ages 4 and under are free. Museum admission included.
