Gyotaku Fish Printing Mini Workshop

July 12, 2024 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Create prints from fish!

Gyotaku is a traditional Japanese method of making prints directly from fish.

Join us for this workshop to try the fish-printing process for yourself!

Participants will also design and carve a stamp with their initials to sign their prints.

Participants will work with local freshly-caught fish.

We will brush the fish with sumi ink and then use flexible Japanese rice paper to obtain prints from the fish.

$45 Total
