Drugs in Our Community/A Panel Discussion @ Manitowoc Public Library
The abuse and misuse of drugs—prescription and otherwise—is a dilemma negatively impacting communities around the United States. And Manitowoc is no different. While everyone agrees that something needs to be done about the problem, opinions tend to vary on exactly how to effectively resolve the situation. The seemingly overwhelming nature of the issue leaves communities divided and despondent. However, open and constructive conversation is in important, necessary step in the right direction. In this spirit, Manitowoc Public Library is hosting the open forum/panel discussion regarding “Drugs in Our Community,” at 6 PM on Monday, October 9th, in the Balkansky Community Room. Participants include Detective Adam Sohlden, of the Manitowoc Police Department and Christma Hochkammer of Lakeshore CAP, as well as a member of the Recovery Community. Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate in this crucial conversation. Admission is FREE!!!
