$5 from every entry fee will support a local non-profit organization with the remainder being paid out to winners. Additionally, we will be donating $1 from each full pour sold on Sunday.

About our local non-profit organization:

In 2016, a young girl near to everyone on our board was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The first year was full of new challenges as the family re-learned how to eat and managed constant blood sugar level testing and injections. Not only was this time stressful due to the diagnoses, but it also created additional financial strain. In just five short months, the family had accumulated over $20,000 in medical bills and realized that there was little assistance within the county for situations like this.

We know many families find themselves in similar situations, so we created Lean on Me Lakeshore to help provide assistance. While we do not cover significant medical expenses directly, our goal is to provide some relief for non-medical expenses by distributing gift cards and paying for certain ancillary expenses.

Lean on Me Lakeshore is a nonprofit organization in Manitowoc County. We collect donations from the community and disperse them to families in the county who are facing significant medical expenses due to a child’s illness. Our mission is to help these families find financial relief during their difficult times. sa
