A day of blues music, refreshments and more in honor of Bryan Lee, the “Braille Blues Daddy.”
The artist, born Brian Leroy Kumbalek in 1943 in Two Rivers, passed away last year. He began performing professionally at the age of 13 despite the complete loss of eyesight since age eight. He was based in New Orleans much of his career, and was a fixture on Bourbon Street since the 1980s.
