Dr. William Dirienzo, Associate Professor ofNatural and Applied Sciences with UW-Green Bay, will describe the basics ofastronomy appropriate for anyone with little or no background knowledge. Therewill be a brief overview of the universe and the solar system, tips for observingon your own, and discussion of some upcoming astronomical events.Registration required by Monday, January 17th.
