The 5k Walk & Roll Fundraiser to support Ascend Services, Inc. will bring the same fun… with more options than ever.

In light of COVID-19, social distancing, and the different ways we are each affected by the situation, Ascend will host on-site and virtual 5k events this year!

The on-site event will begin at 8:45a.m. on October 9, 2021 and run until 12:00p.m. at Cabin #1 in Lincoln Park. It is the same location as last year’s event. Start times will be staggered to ensure social distancing.

If you are unable – or simply choose not to attend a group event at that time – we are creating ways to join virtually!

1. Our 5k route will be mapped out on the event page. You can choose a time to follow the 5k or 1/4 mile kids fun run on our route and share your times.

2. Complete a 5k Walk or Roll ANYWHERE, anytime during the week of October 9 – October 16. If you live in New York or will be visiting family in the U.P., but you want to show support for Manitowoc’s services for individuals with exceptional abilities – you can!!

Complete the events you register for anywhere. When it gets closer to the event date(s), we will set up pick-up sites for your T-Shirts, Bibs, and Swag Bags!
