Twenty six of our city parks throughout Manitowoc County provide a range of facilities from boat launching and fishing to team fields, tennis courts, trails, swimming pools, picnic areas, restrooms and beaches. Visit Manitowoc's Community built Playground at Henry Schuette Park or the NEW BMX/Skate Park Complex at Dewey St. Park. Some playground areas are supervised. And you can visit the Lincoln Park Zoo for free! Band concerts at Manitowoc's MetroStage in Washington Park Wednesday evenings during summer. Or go to Two Rivers Central Park for free concerts on Thursdays during the summer.

More than 12,000 years ago, glaciers sculpted a unique landscape across Wisconsin. Discover this glaciation on the 1000-mile Ice Age Trail from the Aurora Medical Center Healing Garden through Woodland Dunes Nature Center, along the upper East Twin River and into Point Beach State Forest. This 6-mile paved, recreational trail is the longest, continuous, scenic view of Lake Michigan in the state of Wisconsin! Hike, bike, walk, or roller blade down this scenic coastline between Manitowoc and Two Rivers. From the south you can pick up the trail in historic downtown Manitowoc at the 8th Street Bridge. You'll pass scenic overlooks, craggy coves and wide beaches, gift shops, restaurants and motels. With over 30 flower gardens,  sculptures, and beautiful views, this will become one of your favorite trails!

Follow the signs through downtown Two Rivers for about a mile to reach the Rawley Point Recreation Trail connecting Point Beach State Forest, the historic Rawley Point Lighthouse, and Two Rivers. The Rawley Point Recreational Trail has a hard-packed limestone base and connects Two Rivers with Point Beach State Forest. The six-mile trail winds through pine and hemlock forests, dunes and fields.

Point Beach features 3,000 acres of forest and 6 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline. Offering 129 campsites, cabins, group camp, lighthouse, bike trail, hiking trails, horseback riding, hunting, cross country skiing and picnic areas. Open all year. 

One of Manitowoc's finest parks, Silver Creek Park is set on the shore of Lake Michigan with a creek running through and scenic overviews. It consists of 71.74 acres and boasts several unique features such as rolling topography, rural-like wooded public areas, and a winter sports area. A challenging 18-hole disc golf course is located in the park.

There are lots of hiking trails in the park, a beautiful bridge spanning the creek and beach access as well as plenty of parking. The winter sports area includes large sledding and tubing hills that are easy to get to, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing opportunities.
